Red Hot Rain - Rachel Caine - published via Kickstarter - 30.5” x 44” Image Area - 39” x 51.75” framed - oil on canvas on board - framed in black and gold leafed Larson Juhl hardwood - $5600This was a stand alone story by Rachel Caine, set within her popular Weather Warden Series, and featuring heroine Jo Ann Baldwin, the weather wizard. It was done as a slipcased edition, and nudity was ok because of the direct purchase via Kickstarter. She later arranged to put the book on Amazon, but I needed to dress the character in a modified version. Ah well.
