Limited Edition of  30 The Sentinel is my very first cast bronze sculpture with the first bronze in the edition cast in 1998. I had sculpted in water and oil based clays before but had never cast one of my sculptures in bronze, this sculpture was my first foray into a medium that I have come to love. My vision for this sculpture was of a dragon, ever vigilant, on a rocky promontory watching, waiting and guarding. The dragon is as timeless, rugged and craggy as the rocky ledges where it re-sides. Each sculpture is custom fit and mounted to its own unique “rocky promontory” of hand cut and sculpted stone.
