Description
Painted to be underneath the dust jacket of the third of the three volumes in the Slipcased edition of The Stand, with the printed image glued to the book's binding. This image provided an opportinity to make a more dramatic and shocklng comment on the dust jacket art, in this case, "The Stand- Reaping the Survivors" as it resided hidden below that image. Symbolic of the devastating aftermath of a deadly disease. This is an unframed 16" x 22" oil on panel artwork.
