Surrogate" Is a mixed media sculpture.

Her hands and face are sculpted in polymer. Her body is a combination of techniques in resin hardened fabric, fibers, paperclay and apoxie sculpting resin and acrylics. Natural and found items complete the piece, these include barnacles, metal chains and stones.

 

Her creature offspring is polymer clay painted in acrylics.
