DescriptionAlvina - whose name is Elf. The last of a series of four good Witches created ofr IX2020. She is a mixed media folkloric sculpture wall art piece intended to be somewhat protective an talismanic in the household where she will 'live'.
Why has she downturned cattle horns? Horns are very often symbolic of the connection between our and the Faery worlds, a breaking of barriers between species. I chose cattle horns for Alvina to symbolize the love the Fey folk have for gentle cattle, and also the connection to the crescent moon.
She has a variety of stones as her embellishments, a rainbow aura coated small crystal geode and slice, abalone shell, pearls, Swarovski crystals, tiger's eye, garnet, glass and shell, carnelian and mother of pearl. Size approx 7" x 7.5" (18cms x 19cms)
