"Eternity" is a very personal piece where I explore my hope for transcendence, for our souls to turn into star dust while we wait for our loved ones to transform too.
It's a painting where I channeled the sadness of losing a beloved family member, the anticipated pain of losing my Dad who's battling dementia and the sadness of my years lost to an invisible illness.
It's also a celebration of our imagination, of my heritage with the Monarch butterflies and my favorite animals, the horses, here represented by one beautiful horse I was lucky to meet but passed in the previous year.
This is the biggest oil painting I've ever done. It's not framed but would look beautifully with a floater frame if you choose to. It's wired on the back for quick placement on a wall.
