Description
This mixed media piece is 20" tall. Mother Earth started as a plain LED Halloween tree, the female body and all of the animals are hand-sculpted using paper clay, the face is also hand-sculpted but made of polymer clay. The piece was then painted with Vallejo acrylic paints and sealed for durability. To add some color and vibrancy to the tree I used a unique green yarn that looks very much like a willow branch. The LED lights are purple when it is turned on. It runs on 3 AA batteries.
